Roger Chen Promoted to Partner

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT ROGER CHEN HAS BEEN PROMOTED TO PARTNER.

Since joining in 2017, Roger has sponsored or helped source Silverton’s investments in Billie, Fetch, Enzyme Health, Apprentice.io, Popspots, MobileTech RX, and Novo Labs.

Prior to joining Silverton, Roger was a Principal with Genacast Ventures in New York, a leading seed-stage VC firm affiliated with Comcast Ventures. Before becoming an investor, Roger spent time as an engineer turned Product Manager at Google in Mountain View. Roger studied computer science and mathematics at the University of Michigan and holds an MBA from The Wharton School.

TINA DAI JOINS SILVERTON AS PRINCIPAL.

We are delighted to welcome Tina to the Silverton family as a Principal and key member of the investment team. Prior to joining Silverton, she worked at First Round Capital, a leading seed stage venture firm based in San Francisco. Previously, she held Product & Strategy roles at Intuit and was a consultant at McKinsey. She holds a degree in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin.
